Wow, these are awesome! Especially the first and last ones! Is the last a mosaic?
ReplyDeleteThe last one is a single image. It was taken with the ST80 using the full-spectrum solar filter. It is composed of 51 stacked exposures of 1/3200 second each.

ReplyDeleteI will be using the Canon EOS Rebel XS (1000D) on the Orion ShortTube 80 with a full-spectrum solar filter, and a Meade DSI mounted on a Coronado PST via a 2X Barlow. The PST will be mounted piggyback on the ST80. Both scopes will be on the Vixen Super Polaris mount. I'll try to post a pic of the setup soon.
